The Children's Lantern Parade & Village Lighting formalizes the beginning of the holiday season by involving numerous children, families and local organizations in the lighting of Stowe's historic Main Street. It will culminate with the lighting of the Tree of Lights (sponsored by the St. John’s Outreach Committee) on the rectory triangle park, followed by the group moving to the Stowe Recreation Department for warm beverages and doughnuts; the Helen Day Art Center Festival of Trees and Light exhibit will then open.
