Chowderpalooza and Spring Art on Park

Saturday, May 24, 2014 | 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Thanks everyone for making this such a wonderful success!)

We are adding a fun new event to kick off our summer events, Chowderpalooza! Area chefs will create and serve up their favorite chowders and we want you to be the judge! Purchase a $5 tasting bracelet, receive your voting ballot and try them all. Categories include White, Red, Veggie and Open. Chowder tasting will be along Main Street in Stowe. In addition we will kick-off Art on Park our local artisans market on Park Street. Stroll over to Park Street listen to live music by Lesley Grant, get your face painted and shop from a variety of unique jewelery, pottery, fine art and more all created by local artists and artisans.

Art on Park in Stowe

With more than 30 talented artisans and artists each week there is something for everyone—jewelry, pottery, paintings, drawings, photography, fiber arts, specialty food products and more. An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July

Friday, July 4, 2014; All Day

Kick off your 4th of July with the local favorite Moscow Parade at 10 am. Then make your way to Stowe Village, where there will be live local music, food, entertainment and attractions for all ages, Art on Park artisan market and other entertainment! Make sure to secure your spot along Main Street for the 2nd Annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July parade beginning at 1:00 pm, certain to be bigger and more exciting than last year! Village events including a bouncy house, dunk tank, pie eating contest, climbing wall are 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., followed up by the fireworks and fun on the Mayo Fields, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Street Dance and Block Party

Saturday, August 9, 2014 | 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

The 57th Annual Antique & Classic Car Meet (Fri, Aug. 8 - Sun, Aug. 10, 2014)  would not be complete without the Street Dance & Block Party. You can dance the night away to the rock and roll classics presented by WDEV, and step back into time as you mingle among the antique and classic cars along Main Street.
